This custom frame
of eastern white pine and cypress was raised in
Franklin, NC in the fall of 2007. The home
buyers had their architect look at this older
home to explore its potential before they even
purchased it. They then worked with their
architect and Cabin Creek Timber Frames to turn
it into a truly one of a kind mountain home.
|
| This timber frame
makes full use of the existing architectural
feature of the fireplace and view. By removing a
portion of the existing home and dropping the
timber frame in at opposite angles it added a
new ridge line and lots of visual interest. |
